You can easily freeze meat for about 6 months. With vacuum sealed meat, this can easily be doubled, without losing the taste

We only begin preparing the meat in the afternoon of the day the order is collected by our courier. Items leave our butchers approx 7pm for overnight tracked journey to be delivered to you the next day. Every order is shipped in a temperature controlled box. Our boxes act as mini, transportable fridge keeping the temperture low for upto 48 hours. ( We aim to deliver in less then half that time) Once you've received your order, please place the meat and poultry in the fridge or freezer.

Vacuum packing has many benefits. 1. It reduces atmospheric oxygen, limiting the growth of aerobic bacteria or fungi, and preventing the evaporation of volatile components. 2. It keeps the meat fresh for longer ( up to 10 days in the fridge ) 3. If frozen, it won't have freezer burn meaning the product will taste fresh for longer.

If you place your order before 9am, we will endevour to deliver it to you the next working day subject to product availability. If you placed your order after 9am, we will deliver to you within 2 working days.

Yes. It is 100% safe. We use industry standard ice packs, used by the food industry for transporting fresh produce.

To control the temperature in your box we use ice/ gel packs. When frozen they will retain a low temperature for upto 48 hours. They are reusable, so why not freeze it and use it for a picnic or you could pierce it, pour the liquid down the sink and dispose it in a bin.

We know there are approx 25,000 people a year dying of starvation around the world, so with that in mind the Halal Meat Co group is giving 2.5% from all orders towards feeding the poor and hungry. Your participation in this project is buying meat from HMC and you get involved in this amazing project as we give away the 2.5% of the whole order placed with us. So whilst you feed your family, you will also be feeding someone who otheriwse might not have had anything to eat.
